Efficiently prepare agar media slants with this rack’s numbered and lettered places.
- Turn the rack to one side to slant tubes 5° for a large surface area, useful for aerobic cultures
- Turn it to the other side to slant tubes 20° for a smaller surface area, ideal for anaerobic cultures and reducing media drying in storage
- Autoclave media-filled tubes with the rack upright, then tilt it to the desired angle while the media is hot and let it harden
- Can be used to incubate tissue cultures or submerged in a water bath
- Not stackable
