BEL-ART – SP SCIENCEWARE LIMITED WARRANTY<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Thank you for choosing\u00a0Bel-Art \u2013 SP Scienceware<\/span>. Please read the information below regarding the Limited Warranty offered on your purchase.<\/p>\n

Limited Warranty Information<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bel-Art \u2013 SP Scienceware warrants its Bel-Art\u00ae and H-B Instrument\u00ae durable goods* including desiccators (except Space Saver brand), Touch-free\u2122 waste cans, magnetic stirrers, colorimeters, pipettors, shaker and orbital platforms, flowmeters, dry ice makers, colony counter, light boxes, electric drying racks, micro-mill grinders, liquid-in-glass thermometers and any product with electrical\/battery operated components including timers, thermometers and weather stations against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase by the original consumer or other original end user.<\/p>\n

All other Bel-Art\/H-B products* offered by Bel-Art \u2013 SP Scienceware have a 90 day same terms warranty. The exclusive remedy for any and all warranties and claims related to any product of Bel-Art \u2013 SP Scienceware is the return of the product for replacement or repair, at Bel-Art \u2013 SP Scienceware\u2019s discretion except that such remedy may be further limited as provided below.<\/p>\n

To return a product to Bel-Art \u2013 SP Scienceware for warranty service, please call customer service at 800-423-5278 to receive a Return Material Authorization. Please provide the order number and date of original purchase when requesting permission for returning items.<\/p>\n

Only packages with the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number appearing on the outside of the carton and on all invoiced paperwork will be accepted. Returns must be freight prepaid with (i) proof of purchase date, (ii) a description of the problem and (iii) your name and address sent to: Bel-Art \u2013 SP Scienceware, 661 Route 23 South, Wayne, NJ 07470. A Decontamination form may also be required prior to return.* Return Material Authorizations are valid for a period of sixty (60) days from date of issuance.<\/p>\n

You are responsible for all shipping and handling costs associated with this warranty service. Products found defective within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer\u2019s option. This limited warranty shall not be available in the case of misuse, abuse, tampering or alterations of the product.<\/p>\n

*Due to the unspecified nature of their use and the environment in which they are used, glove boxes and fume hoods may only be returned due to shipping damage reported within two days of receipt, and only if the unit has not been used. Any returned product that has come in contact with process materials or as advised when receiving a RMA number must include a Decontamination Form which can be downloaded<\/a> on this web site or by calling Customer Service. Sterileware\u00ae, Flowmi\u00ae and other sterilized product are not returnable.<\/p>\n

Any product which appears to be damaged as a result of shipping should be reported immediately to FedEx or other delivering carrier. The end use of the product is beyond the control of Bel-Art \u2013 SP Scienceware. EXCEPT AS SET FORTH HEREIN THERE SHALL BE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING WITH RESPECT TO THE END USE OR FITNESS OF THE PRODUCT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.<\/p>\n

WARRANTY AND LIMITATIONS THEREON:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The end use of the product is beyond the control of\u00a0Bel-Art \u2013 SP Scienceware.<\/span>\u00a0EXCEPT AS SET FORTH HEREIN THERE SHALL BE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING WITH RESPECT TO THE END USE OR FITNESS OF THE PRODUCT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.<\/p>\n

Limitation of Liability. This warranty is for the repair or replacement of products only. Except to that limited extent, Bel-Art will not under any circumstances be liable for any loss, cost, damage, or expense of any kind arising from a breach of these warranties or otherwise. Without limiting the foregoing,<\/p>\n

Bel-Art \u2013 SP Scienceware\u00a0<\/span>shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, special, or punitive damages arising out of a breach of this warranty or in connection with the sale, maintenance, use, operation, servicing, or repair of any Bel-Art Product. IN NO EVENT WILL BEL-ART BE LIABLE FOR ANY AMOUNT GREATER THAN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.<\/p>\n

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, the above limitations may not apply to you. Some states also do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.<\/p>\n

Governing Law; Jurisdiction. This warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Customer and<\/p>\n

Bel-Art \u2013 SP Scienceware\u00a0<\/span>agree that jurisdiction for all disputes between the parties in connection with or arising out of the existence, validity, construction or performance of this warranty which the parties are unable to amicably resolve between themselves within thirty (30) days, shall lie in the state or Federal courts located in the State of New York and the parties expressly waive all objections to such jurisdiction.<\/p>\n
